I've opened up a forum on theoverhear.app website for user discussion and questions. It is currently populated with a few categories:
Update Requests - new features you'd like to see Health, Wellbeing & Growth - how poetry and walks can help Festivals to Overhear - Suggest festivals for Overhear to work with.
Walks - Other walking organisations and events
Recording Discussion - tips for recording poems.
and a General discussion for other bits and bobs.
I'm learning all about how to engender community engagement from Jono Bacon's book "People Powered" and although I know community is really important for things like this to thrive I've been unsure of how to get it off the ground with the mechanics of it all being a bit daunting, (I've realised I hide behind "organic" a bit too much and don't get things done... but over the next few months I'm going to roll my sleeves up and see what we can get growing.
I'd love to hear your responses to the Community Mission for Overhear that I've started a thread on in the General Discussion topic as well as any contributions you might have to the other topics too!
