Hey, I’ve been a bit quiet on the blog front but here is an update:
OVERHEAR now has 9 venues hosting 9 tracks from local Birmingham Musicians, with 3 more one the way— natural clusters are forming around Digbeth and the JQ which is cool and has made us think about having a few “Song Crawls.”
This will be where we invite people to join us in exploring these areas using the website. A bit like a walking tour with tunes. This will be great to get people using and understanding the idea hopefully starting the beginnings of an OVERHEAR community. Also it will show venues the worth of being involved in the idea generating some neat publicity for us.
I am meeting today at Impact Hub with my pals Louise Byng and Rosie Cleaments to bounce this idea about, also joining us willbe Anna Brophy who is chipping in with some work experience for us. More from her later.
